The Van Buren County Republican Party lost a good friend on Friday, June 25, 2010 when Jean Thomas passed away in Bronson Hospital. Jean and her husband Roger have been faithful members of the party and the Executive Board since it was formed. This year, Jean was honored by the Republican Women as their woman of the year but as is most often the case, the Republican Women were simply returning some of the honor done them by Jean through her hard work and friendship.

Jean will be missed by all of us but most by her husband of 55 years, Roger and her childrenVickie Bosworth, Jeff Thomas, Nancy Thomas, and several nieces and nephews. Any rememberances added to this page will be printed and sent to Roger.
